Rugby opponents maul together to help injured player

In an incredible act of teamwork and sportsmanship, rugby players from opposing teams came together to help an injured player after the ambulance he was travelling in got bogged.

The incident occurred during a match in Italy between between Val Camonica and Casalmagiorre.

The injured player was loaded into the ambulance, but the vehicle's tyres got stuck in the mud.

But thankfully the players put allegiances aside, binding into a collective maul behind the ambulance.

The vehicle started to move slowly before more players came into the rolling maul, giving the ambulance enough momentum to get out of the mud and on its way to hospital.
