'Disgrace': Fans fume over 'dangerous' conditions at World Cup

Fans were left fuming after big divots of the turf were being dug up during the game between Italy and Ireland at the Rugby World Cup.

Italy raced to a 17-0 lead at half-time after Canada bombed a certain tr at Fukuoka Hakatanomori Stadium.

But social media was alight with concern for the players after groundskeepers were seen fixing huge divots in the ground at halftime.

Despite the issues, fans were thrilled at the intensity of the match despite Italy charging out of the blocks.

Canada came close to upsetting Italy at the 2015 World Cup, but Italy are on track to put the Canadians to the sword in 2019.
