Haase's hilarious moment with pro-Federer crowd
Robin Haase drew a massive ovation from the Montreal crowd with a cheeky dig during his semi-final clash with Roger Federer.
Late in Federer's straight-sets victory on Sunday, Haase was preparing to serve when the humorous moment occured.
YOUNG v OLD: Federer and Zverev in Montreal final
"Let's go Roger," someone from the crowd yelled out.
Haase momentarily paused before delivering a brilliant reply: "My name is Robin!"
The pro-Federer crowd appreciated Haase's lightning quick wit and gave him a big round of applause.
However it was the only moment of joy for the Dutchman as Federer marched into another final.
Federer used a dominant service game to beat Haase 6-3 7-6 (5), setting up a Rogers Cup final against German Alexander Zverev, who ended the giant-killing run of hometown hero Denis Shapovalov.
