RHOBH star Lisa Rinna to make TV comeback in American Horror Story spinoff
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Rinna is set to return to the small screen, appearing in a spinoff of the popular American Horror Story franchise.
The former Days of Our Lives actress stepped away from the reality show earlier this year after eight years.
Now it appears Lisa is returning to her acting roots and will be starring in an episode of American Horror Stories, the spinoff of the hit show American Horror Story, which is currently filming its twelfth season.
American Horror Stories tackles a new story in each episode compared to a full season of American Horror Story, which explores one arc.

Lisa will appear in an episode called 'Tapeworm' in the third season of the spinoff, although more details beyond the title are yet to be released.
Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk created American Horror Stories with seasons one and two starring talent such as Denis O'Hare, Max Greenfield, Bella Thorne, Dylan McDermott, Matt Bomer and Naomi Grossman.
Reflecting on leaving RHOBH, Rinna said earlier this year: "This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun 8-year run, and I am excited for what is to come!"
Her husband Harry Hamlin supported her decision and said: "Now it's time to move on. Eight years is a long time to do anything, the same thing over and over again. It's time to move along."

Lisa's departure from the reality show was also followed by another cast member announcing their exit. Diana Jenkin, who had appeared in the show for one season, also revealed she was leaving this year to focus on her pregnancy.
She shared the news on her Instagram and said: "You also know that due to many factors, this pregnancy is considered high risk and I am on doctor-advised bed rest. To that end, I am not able to devote myself fully to filming the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo in the US, and on ITVBe and Hayu in the UK.
