Referee falls for footballer's ridiculous dive

Delhi Dynamos striker Marcelo Leite Pereira has produced one of the worst dives you'll ever see, but it's not as bad as the referee's decision.

It's pretty impossible for the referee to be everywhere, but he probably should have done a little better here.

Pereira sprints into the penalty box in his side's Indian Super League game against Atletico de Kolkata when he is lightly touched on the shoulder by a defender.

Realising he has no hope to keep the ball in play he takes an unbelievable swan dive, completely fooling the whistelblower into awarding a penalty.

Fortunately karma struck and the spot kick was missed.
