Conor McGregor's 'bromance' with Sergio Ramos sends fans bonkers
Fans have been left perplexed after Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and UFC icon Conor McGregor have started a ‘bromance’ on social media, prompting an invite for the Irishman to visit Spain.
Madrid’s Ramos has celebrated in the past with the ‘billionaire strut’, which McGregor made world renowned during his rise to fame in the UFC.

Before being crowned Spanish champions, Ramos posted a video of himself performing the ‘billionaire strut’ last week after scoring a cracking goal during training.

“What do you think Sergio Ramos? We Are The Forge!” he responded.
Ramos quickly replied and invited the Irishman to Real Madrid training next time he was in town.
“Top class mate. Fancy a training session at Real Madrid,” Ramos wrote.

McGregor has previously met Ramos’ former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo before and the pair struck up a friendship.
Ronaldo posted this photo of them together nearly four years ago when he was still at Real Madrid.
The 32-year-old UFC icon recently admitted to being a fan of Manchester United and their former star Roy Keane.
“I was more a player than a watcher back then, but Manchester United was my team," McGregor said in an interview with FIFA.com back in 2019.
“I was attracted to the success and winning mentality of the club and people surrounded by United. Irish legends like Denis Irwin and Roy Keane were dedicated to their craft and had that winning mentality. Roy Keane was one of the best midfielders European football has ever seen.”
