Cooper Cup active Puka Nua, active, activated for injury reserve today after a week one knee injury, TJ Hawkinson out Andy Nua.
Expectations are, yeah, listen, we can't play Scared Fitz and I don't think I would do it here with, with Puka Nua.
Uh, if I had waited six weeks for him, he's probably starting for me.
Now.
I had a guy reach out to me on social after I said some nice stuff about Nua and he was like, well, hey, I'm starting T Higgins and Jaden Reid over him.
Well, ok, I get that those are not the options that most of us have, right?
I'm certainly not any of our recent waiver wire receivers over Pua hard to imagine the scenario in which a fantasy manager has a better option than the guy that you drafted in the second round.
Uh, he caught 105 balls for nearly 1500 yards last year and if the Rams are playing him, I am playing him, I'm willing to accept the possibility of a limited role because I also know what the high end, the range of outcomes looks like.
And it's, it wins me the week.
Um So some of you might need to wrestle with like a floor versus ceiling debate.
Maybe you think you, you're the underdog and you need to, you need to go for ceiling in that case, it has to be nua.
Um Also I gotta say this, this game has the feel of like a all hands on deck situation for the Rams, right?
Like if we fall to two and five, we're selling and if we get to three and four, hey, we're, now we're tied with the Niners.
Anything can happen.
Uh, bottom line here for me.
I think we're getting everything that Fuca's got tonight and it's enough for me.
I, I think timing also quickly, I'll point out matters on this because remember after this game, the Rams get the benefit of the mini pie.
If they're right on the fence on playing an injured player, you don't play them on Thursday because you have a full week and a half to get them right.
They would not play these guys if these guys weren't ready to play.
So I'm with you.
I think that's smart analysis.
