A famous comeback is required from Paris Saint-Germain tonight as they host Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.

Niclas Fullkrug hit the winner in Germany last week to put Dortmund within reach of only their third-ever Champions League final.

Unlike Dortmund, PSG have never lifted the trophy and, having edged slightly away from their recent big-spending era, are still as reliant on Kylian Mbappe as ever.

This will be the French forward’s final European night at the Parc des Princes and the chance to go out with a bang will surely be motivation enough, particularly having been overshadowed by Jadon Sancho last week.

PSG enjoyed the weekend off between the two legs whereas Dortmund hammered Augsburg 5-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Date, kick-off time and venue

PSG vs Borussia Dortmund is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off tonight, Tuesday May 7, 2024.

The match will take place at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

PSG vs Dortmund team news

Lucas Hernandez will miss the rest of the season, plus the Euros and a chunk of next year, after tearing his ACL in the first leg. Lucas Beraldo should take his place in the PSG defence.

Luis Enrique may increase the attacking impetus of his XI by handing a start to Lee Kang-in, Goncalo Ramos, Marco Asensio or Randal Kolo Muani.

Donyell Malen returned to the Dortmund lineup for the win over Augsburg but Edin Terzic is unlikely to make any changes from the team which won the first leg.

Sebastien Haller should make the bench but Ramy Bensebaini and Julien Duranville are injured. Julian Ryerson and Karim Adeyemi are expected to be fit.
