Prince Harry's brilliant 'budgie smugglers' letter to Dylan Alcott
Dylan Alcott has taken to social media to show off a hilarious letter he received from Prince Harry.
The Aussie wheelchair tennis champion posted the letter on Twitter on Monday, which congratulated Alcott on his recent win at Wimbledon, as well as his Logies gong for most popular new talent.
“Pen pals with the Duke of Sussex himself - Prince Harry,” Alcott wrote on Twitter.
“What an absolute legend ... Also very impressed he watches the @TVWEEKmag logies..!”
Harry also praised Alcott for “raising awareness and changing perceptions of disability”.
“I wanted to pass on my congratulations for your recent win at Wimbledon and your most popular new talent award!” Harry wrote in the letter.
“Thank you for the special contribution that you made to sharing the stories of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women on the Invictus Games Today show.
“Your achievements are extraordinary, and the impact you have had in raising awareness and changing perceptions of disability is really inspiring.
“I wish you the very best of luck for the future, on-air and on-court! All the best, Harry.”
However the letter finishes with a slightly weird post-script.
“PS - I’m wondering if you wore your Invictus Games budgie smugglers on the big night to accept it? Mine have come in handy in this recent UK heatwave!”

Alcott makes history at Wimbledon
Alcott won the first quad wheelchair singles title at Wimbledon last month, a day after winning the doubles title.
Alcott beat doubles partner Andy Lapthorne of Britain 6-0, 6-2 in the first official singles final for the event at the All England Club.
Alcott and Lapthorne won the doubles title on Friday, beating Koji Sugeno of Japan and David Wagner of the United States 6-2, 7-6 (4).
Wheelchair tennis made its debut at Wimbledon in 2016.
Alcott became a paraplegic after a tumour was removed from his spine soon after birth.
