Posh beat Cheltenham to reach EFL Trophy semis

Holders Peterborough United booked their place in the Vertu Trophy semi-finals after fighting back to beat League Two Cheltenham Town.

Hector Kyprianou slotted Posh in front from close range but Cheltenham went into the break 2-1 up thanks to Jordan Thomas' curling strike from distance and George Miller's cool finish.

The League One hosts equalised early in the second half when Abraham Odoh followed in after Malik Mothersille's initial effort was parried out by goalkeeper Joe Day.

Ricky Jade-Jones grabbed the winner from a tight angle to put Posh in the last four alongside Birmingham and Bradford who both won on Tuesday.

Wrexham host fellow League One side Bolton in the last quarter-final on Tuesday, 11 February.
