Portsmouth have signed goalkeeper Ben Killip from League One side Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old has signed a short-term deal with the Championship club until the end of the current campaign, coming in as Will Norris departs.

Killip joined Barnsley from Hartlepool United in the summer of 2023 and has played 36 games for the South Yorkshire club, including 21 this season.

"We're really pleased to add further competition in the goalkeeping department," boss John Mousinho told the club website.

"Ben has plenty of experience and possesses all the attributes needed to challenge Nico (Schmid), Jordan (Archer) and Toby (Steward)."
