Ospreys have recalled Wales trio Jac Morgan, Dewi Lake and Adam Beard to face Edinburgh in the United Rugby Championship (URC).

The three Wales forwards were rested for last week's defeat by Ulster but return just days after being included in Warren Gatland's autumn squad.

Lake was named Wales captain but Morgan will continue to lead Ospreys, wearing the six jersey with Justin Tipuric at seven.

They are among six changes made by head coach Toby Booth, which also includes Wales centre Owen Watkin and a new half-back pairing in Owen Williams and Reuben Morgan-Williams.

However their injury crisis means hooker Lewis Lloyd will provide back-row cover on the bench.

Scotland centre Matt Scott makes his 100th appearance for Edinburgh.

Ospreys are bottom of the URC having lost four of their five games this season.

However they will be grateful to return to Bridgend, where they are unbeaten in four games, including their only win of this campaign against Stormers.

Booth, said: “It’s important that we diversify and adapt quicker than we have in the last couple games."

Scott reaches his milestone in his third stint at his boyhood club alongside young centre Matt Currie, days after being named in Scotland's autumn series squad.

Full-back Harry Paterson makes his first appearance of the season while Ben Vellacott skippers the side from scrum-half, replacing the rested Ali Price.

Hooker Ewan Ashman and back-row trio Hamish Watson, Jamie Ritchie and Ben Muncaster all return.

Edinburgh have turned their season around in recent weeks, following a five-game losing run, by winning their last two against Stormers and Cardiff to move up to sixth place.

They have not lost to a Welsh region since their visit to Scarlets in February 2023.
