Olympics basketball games today: Greece vs. Australia highlights Paris Games slate

Four games are on the slate Friday for men's basketball at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Friday marks the third and final game in group action in Paris for Groups A and B, adding an extra layer of significance to the contests with the knockout round starting on Sunday. The field will be trimmed from 12 teams down to eight, with six of those spots being taken up by the top two teams from each of the three groups and the final two spots coming from the two best third-place teams.

Among the four games taking place Friday in Paris, Greece vs. Australia in Group A play headlines the competition as Giannis Antetokounmpo will take on an Australian team that consists of Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey, Patty Mills and Joe Ingles.

Another big game on Friday's slate is France vs. Germany in Group B play, as Victor Wembanyama once again plays in front of his home country.

Of Friday's slate of Olympic basketball games, four will be broadcast on linear television. USA Network will broadcast Australia vs. Greece in Group A action at 7:30 a.m. ET and Canada vs. Spain at 6 p.m. ET. E! will broadcast France vs. Germany in Group B action at 3:50 p.m. ET. Universo will air a Spanish-language broadcast of Japan-Brazil at 8 a.m.

Streaming simulcasts of linear TV can be watched on NBCOlympics.com, the NBC app or the NBC Olympic app, all with a cable login. Other streaming options include Peacock and Fubo, the latter of which offers a free trial to select users.
