Team GB bamboozled by hilarious luggage bungle
The Brits were in fine form in Rio, amassing 27 gold medals, but that form didn't exactly carry over to their arrival home.
You know the feeling you get after a long holiday when you just want to get off the plane and get out of the airport as soon as possible but have to wait two hours for your luggage to arrive?
Every Team GB athlete lived that nightmare on Wednesday as they arrived back in the UK.
Any thoughts they had of making a speedy exit from Heathrow were quickly erased when they realised they all had matching luggage.
The athletes reportedly took hours to work out whose bags were whose, but after finishing second on the medal tally behind the United States, they were able to see the funny side with some lighthearted social media posts:

At least they've got four years to sort it out for Tokyo.
