Video of one-legged high jumper sends internet into meltdown
A South African high-jumper with one leg has become an internet sensation after video of his incredible feat went viral.
Obed Lekhehle defied the odds with a remarkable display in the T42 category at the 2019 World Para Athletics Junior Championships.
Lekhehle claimed silver in the competition after clearing 1.65cm at the event in Nottwil, Switzerland.
ESPN just posted a clip of the South African's jump which senior writer Chris Low captioned with: "There is no can't".
Fox News anchor Taylor Bishop also wrote: "You've got to be kidding me. This is incredible."
The video of Lekhehle's astonishing display has been watched more than one million times, with viewers in absolute awe of the South African athlete.

Lekhehle his right leg when he was hit by a motor vehicle at just eight years of age.
He also competes in the long jump and broke the South African record for high jump in a 2017 competition.
