Tommy Turbo doubles down on booze ban for 2022 NRL season
Manly and NSW star Tom Trbojevic will once again avoid alcohol for another NRL campaign after a blistering 2021 season.
The star fullback opted to avoid alcohol during the 2021 season after an infamous race with a fan named 'Harry', along the Manly Corso.

After some backlash over the incident, the Sea Eagles fullback decided on a booze ban.
The 25-year-old went on to not only produce his best season to date, but one of the great individual campaigns in NRL history.
And Trbojevic wants to reap the benefits of another season off alcohol.
"I'll go the whole season," Trbojevic said at the NRL's grassroots season launch on Thursday.
"You feel a lot better within yourself. Your body feels better, you recover quicker, all that type of stuff. It definitely helps and I'll be locking in again.
"I decided to do it last year. I didn't know what the outcome was (going to be), but I guess the way I got through the year and played good footy, it helped physically and now mentally.
"It's a thing I've got to do to be the best footy player I can be. It's not like it's anything hard. I love playing footy and I want to be the best footy player I can be and the best footy player for Manly.
"I'm not trying to push it too much on anyone. Everyone kind of does their own thing and has got to prepare individually for them to perform (at their) best."
Tom Trbojevic aims to top 2021 season
Unsurprisingly, Trbojevic is determined to improve on his season last year.
If he is able to usurp his numbers from last year, rivals should be worried.
He scored 28 tries in 18 NRL games to take Manly to the preliminary final, won the Wally Lewis Medal as man of the series in NSW's State of Origin triumph and was emphatically crowned the game's best player.
And the 25-year-old has sent a warning to his rivals.
"You've always got to find ways to keep getting better and, ultimately, you want to be successful in the game as a team. We've still got steps to go in that sense," he said.
The Sea Eagles were this week treated to an hour-long talk from Irishman John Kavanagh, the renowned mixed martial arts coach whose students include former UFC featherweight and lightweight double-champion Conor McGregor.
Ahead of the season, the Manly Sea Eagles were treated to an hour-long talk from Irishman John Kavanagh, the renowned mixed martial arts coach whose students include former UFC featherweight and lightweight double-champion Conor McGregor.
"It was a pretty surreal experience," Trbojevic said.
"I can't say I'm the biggest UFC or MMA fan, but I obviously know who Conor McGregor is and what he's done in the sport.
"To have his coach in talking to us about how he prepares to fight was pretty cool.
"He talked a lot about how he prepares his athletes. They've got like 12-week training camps ... There were definitely similarities like how we train in the pre-season to prepare for round one."
