Football fan breaks leg after idiotic stunt fail

A Buffalo Bills fan paid the price for trying to win over a crowd after suffering a horrific injury during an idiotic stunt.

Amateur footage captured the carnage as the masked Bills supporter broke his leg jumping off a car and onto a table.

The crowd was egging the man on as he stood on top of a car, with the table positioned a few metres away on the frosty ground below.

Laughter rang out as he launched himself off the vehicle, shattering the table in half as his feet crashed through the middle of it.

What might have seemed like a good idea after copious amounts of alcohol, soon proved to be the exact opposite as it became apparent the man had suffered a serious injury.

His leg appeared to have bent in the wrong direction and witnesses could be heard saying it was broken.

The incident happened during one of America’s infamous tailgate parties, where fans gather around the open tailgates of each other’s vehicles eating food and drinking alcohol before and after sporting contests.

The setting might go some way to explaining why this Bills fan thought he was indestructible.
