No love for Love’s family
Jordan Love’s mother and girlfriend made the trip to Kansas City to watch the quarterback’s first NFL start for the Green Bay Packers, only to be given nosebleed seats in literally the last row of Arrowhead Stadium.
Rubbing salt into the wounds, Love struggled on the field as the Packers’ were defeated 13-7 by the Chiefs.

Cardinals get tricky
Without their two main weapons in Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins, the Arizona Cardinals decided to get creative to generate some offence against the San Francisco 49ers.
Colt McCoy faked a handoff, before offloading the ball to Christian Kirk who threw a 34-yard pass to Antoine Wesley to setup a touchdown.

Taylor’s bizarre interception
Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor would like to have this one back.
Taylor was being rushed out of bounds, when he decided to throw the ball away in an effort not to lose yards on the play. However, his limp toss of the ball stayed in the field of play and went straight into the arms of the Miami Dolphins Jerome Baker.

Sirianni fires up at Eagles fan
Nick Sirianni took exception to a Philadelphia Eagles fan who threw a bouquet of flowers at the Eagles head coach following a tough 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

McCarthy starstruck by Staubach
Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy stopped mid-sentence when he saw Cowboys legend Roger Staubach passing by during a press conference last week.
It’s refreshing to know that even NFL head coaches can get stars in their eyes when they cross paths with legends of the game.

Wright’s hat-trick of misses
Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Matt Wright missed three field-goal attempts in a row, following a bizarre sequence of penalties and re-kicks against the Buffalo Bills.
The good news for Wright is that his Jags still went on to win the game 9-6, with the kicker scoring all of his team’s points.
What a sequence just now for the Jaguars...
- 42-yard FG attempt no good, but false start is called so the kick doesn't count
- Next play, 47-yard FG attempt no good, but running into the kicker is called so kick doesn't count
