MAGIC MOMENTS: Top highlights from Week 7 of the NFL season
There was plenty of action in between, as well. Here are some of the top moments from Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season that you might have missed.
Fake field goal attempt turns ugly
The Pittsburgh Steelers tired to get creative by running a fake field goal during the first quarter of their clash with the Cleveland Browns, only for the play to backfire in ugly fashion.
Steelers kicker Chris Boswell took a direct snap before rolling out to his right and looking to throw. With no options available, Boswell threw the ball away but was hit hard as he did so, leaving him with a concussion. Despite not having a kicker, the Steelers managed to come away with a 15-10 victory.

Winston busts out dance moves on crutches
A torn ACL didn’t stop Jameis Winston enjoying the New Orleans Saints’ 36-27 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Winston sustained the season-ending injury early in the second quarter, but was spotted dancing with a set of blue crutches as the Saints celebrated the impressive victory.

Mascot heartbroken by overtime loss
Indianapolis Colts mascot Blue could only watch on in horror as Tennessee Titans kicker Randy Bullock handed the Colts a 34-31 overtime loss.
Blue was seen hilariously banging his head on the goalpost in frustration after watching Bullock’s kick split the uprights.
there have been some classic "mascots standing under the upright and getting really upset about field goals" moments over the years but I think this might be an all-timer pic.twitter.com/lE44dvSGN9

Texans embrace Halloween in hilarious fashion
The Houston Texans marked Halloween by playing a classic scare prank on their players with their inflatable mascot Toro.
The only thing scarier than Toro is the Texans’ dismal 1-7 record so far this season.

Blewitt blows it
It’s fair to say that Washington Football Team’s Chris Blewitt has one of the most unfortunate names an NFL kicker could possibly ask for.
Even more unfortunate is the fact Blewitt lived up (or down?) to his name against the Denver Broncos, blasting a field goal attempt into the back an offensive linemen’s head. Of his five career field goal attempts to date, three have been blocked.

Unlikely hero White makes history
New York Jets quarterback Mike White threw for 405 yards in his first ever NFL start, guiding the Jets to a 34-31 upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
White is only the second player in NFL history to throw for 400-plus yards in their first NFL start, with Cam Newton being the other. He even caught a touchdown pass on a two-point conversion to cap off his impressive display.
