NFL star suffers sickening leg break on TD attempt
Bears tight end Zach Miller has suffered a gruesome leg injury during the third quarter of his side's 20-12 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
To add insult to his injury, the play on which he was hurt was overturned on review as officials ruled that Miller lost control of the ball on what would have been a 25-yard touchdown catch.
Although Miller's attempt to reel the ball in while his leg was breaking was insanely courageous.
The 33-year-old's leg jammed into the turf as he attempted the catch over his shoulder, leading his knee to collapse inwards.
It was a horrific incident with Miller rushed to hospital immediately afterwards.
His coach, John Fox, confirmed the star tight end's injury.
John Fox confirms Zach Miller dislocated his knee and was taken to a local hospital: “Our thoughts and prayers are with him.” #DaBears
