Backup Los Angeles Chargers kicker Drew Kaser has had a moment to forget in the warm-up to his side's Thanksgiving clash against the Dallas Cowboys.
In an unprecedented incident, the full-time punter, part-time kicker completely missed the practice net on his warm-up kick.
Kaser was forced to kick after the team's main kicker was ruled out of the game through injury.
Kaser copped a torrent of criticism from NFL fans online.
That shot of Kaser missing the net will be the best thing you’ll see all day— trey wingo (@wingoz) November 23, 2017
Not a kicking coach but I'm pretty sure Drew Kaser is just doing his punt motion off the ground—Kaser's kick + three screencaps of FG vids on Youtube pic.twitter.com/3fXeejf7JP— Rodger Sherman (@rodger_sherman) November 23, 2017

Drew Kaser missed the practice net warming up. That’ll make me go for it on 4th-and-13 as well.— Edward Egros (@EdwardEgrosFox4) November 23, 2017
It was a horrible start to what Kaser thought would be a special day.
So excited and blessed to fulfill a childhood dream of mine of playing on Thanksgiving Day. Can't wait for this opportunity tonight! Happy Thanksgiving y'all— Drew Kaser (@drewkaser) November 23, 2017
