In the video the 196cm, 116kg Goedert appears to be talking to one man with his hand on his chest when he is punched from the side by another man.

A melee then breaks out as Goedert lies unconscious on the ground.

While the Eagles aren’t commenting publicly, a number of Goedert’s teammates have.

“Lucky I wasn’t there,” Avonte Maddox wrote on Twitter. “Would have been some problems deadass.”

Eagles cornerback Rasul Douglas replied to Maddox’s tweetm saying: “Swear to Everything I’d be in jail right now.”

Offensive tackle Lane Johnson said: “Ridiculous. Let me know the time & place. I got you Dallas Goedert.”

Goedert is preparing to enter his third season with the Eagles.

The Britton, South Dakota native and former South Dakota State standout racked up 607 yards and five touchdowns on 58 receptions for Philadelphia last season.

The 25-year-old will enter the third year of his initial four-year, $5.6 million rookie deal, and is eligible for a contract extension after this season.
