'She looks so fit': Jenneke jiggles, sizzles at Nitro Athletics

Criticised for being unfit and out of shape at the Rio Olympics, Michelle Jenneke sent a massive message to her haters at Nitro Athletics.

The 23-year-old hurdler was dumped from Athletics Australia's funding scheme after a disappointing Rio 2016 campaign, with head coach Craig Hilliard highly critical of her.

GREAT CONCEPT: Nitro Athletics gets massive tick of approval

Hilliard said she arrived at the pre-Games training camp in Florida below peak fitness.

"She was certainly one of the athletes that under-performed here," he said.

"It would be easy to suggest that (outside distractions) was possibly a scenario.

"She certainly didn't arrive here in the shape she should have arrived in."

Hilliard also said Jenneke needed to make athletics her top priority.

"Absolutely (it troubles me), because it comes to the end of the day and ... it's about balance. If it's not a priority then why are we funding athletes if it's not a priority?" he said.

"If you are going to be half-baked at doing something, why are we investing in you? I can't justify that."

The global superstar, who shot to fame in 2012 when her 'jiggling' warm-up dance went viral, was one of the faces of Rio 2016 as part of a sponsorship deal with Coca Cola.

However she failed to live up to the hype, finishing sixth in her heat, almost half a second slower than her personal best.

But on Saturday night she found her top form, winning 100 points for Australia with victory in the 100m hurdles.

Jenneke streaked to an easy victory, with commentators praising how fit she looked.

"She does look so fit doesn't she?" said Bruce McAvaney.

"She's worked really hard in her off season," replied Olympian Tamsyn Lewis.

"She was disappointed with how Rio went and she's worked hard, you can see how fit she looks."
