Vonn shows incredible strength with broken arm pull-ups

Champion skier Lindsey Vonn is still managing to get her pull-ups in despite badly breaking her arm just three weeks ago.

The American superstar posted a video to Instagram doing the 'broken arm pull-ups' after sustaining the injury in a training accident.

It seems as though pull-ups are the 32-year-old's favourite exercise, famously getting some in during a photoshoot for Sports Illustrated despite wearing nothing but body paint.

The three-time Olympian has vowed to get back as soon as possible.

"While I am beyond frustrated by this latest setback, at least my knees are ok and I will return to the slopes as soon as possible, as I always do," Vonn wrote on her Facebook page.

The 2010 Winter Olympics downhill champion says she is focusing on downhill and Super-G this season.

The eight-time World Cup downhill champion is expected to target the World Ski Championships in St Moritz in February.

Vonn has worked her way back to fitness in recent seasons after suffering a serious knee injury in 2013.

Her attempt to come back from that injury in time for the 2014 Olympics ended when she re-injured the knee while skiing in France.

As well as her 2010 Olympic crown, Vonn two world titles in 2009, the downhill and Super-G. She has 76 World Cup victories, a record for a woman, and only 10 behind the 86 held by Swedish legend Ingemar Stenmark.
