Fans mob UFC champ in awkward encounter at urinal
UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping couldn’t escape the crowd at the packed UFC 205 event over the weekend, with fans even mobbing him at the urinal.
While he wasn’t fighting in the event, Bisping was joining the Fox Sports 1 team to analyse the rounds.
Dozens of rowdy fans followed the 37-year-old fighter into the bathroom, pulling out their phones to take selfies with him at the urinal and the bathroom sink.
The enthusiastic fans started to chant his name, leaving Bisping in hysterics as he finished his business and left the room.
Bisping was also caught on camera responding to Yoel Romero’s win over former middleweight champion Chris Weidman by giving him a thumbs down followed by two middle fingers.
The gesture fired up Romero, who is now chasing Bisping’s belt.
“I love you,” he shouted at Bisping down the microphone. “See you soon, boy.”

Bisping has previously vowed never to fight Romero, after the Cuban-born fighter failed a drug test earlier this year.
The positive test results were later linked to a tainted supplement containing a growth hormone.
Bisping almost lost a major sponsor in 2012 for flashing his middle finger at a weigh-in.
The CEO of MMA Elita clothing posted to Twitter: “He will never be sponsored by us again!” before backflipping on the decision after meeting with Bisping.
