Mini gymnast Kacy Catanzaro destroys ‘American Ninja Warrior’ obstacle course

The American Ninja Warrior competition may be a gruelling obstacle course designed for the fittest and strongest, but it fell victim to a tiny, 45kg gymnast named 'Might Kacy' who became the first woman to qualify for the finals of the national competition.

Kacy Catanzaro is a 24-year-old gymnast from Texas who stands at just 152cm tall but wasted no time in blitzing the challenging course in 8mins 59secs to secure her spot in the final round in Las Vegas.

The miniature brunette started with the mat-to-mat bolt in lightning speed, before throwing herself around the Log Grip with the full support of the crowd.

Commentators were stunned when Mighty Kacy became the first woman to climb the Salmon Ladder, combining all of her strength with superior intelligence.

"Look at this," one commentator said. "Wow, are you kidding me?!"

But her boyfriend and trainer was not shocked: "You could do this all day," he said in support.

The course suited her tiny frame when she was able to climb the cargo net without her feet touching the ground, but the Pole Grasper presented a serious challenge as she had to jump to a pole 1.5m away.

She took on the form of a superhero when she had to frog jump up 7.5m in the Spider Climb and proudly smashed the buzzer upon completion of the amazing feat.

Naturally, the announcers went bezerk and declared her superhuman. "Shut the front door," the announcer yelled. "She's about to do the impossible. There is no limit to what this woman can do. She's not human! She's not human!"

Mighty Kacy now has a shot at the $500,00 prize and the title glory when she heads to the finals in Las Vegas.
