Brazilian physio invades pitch to make vital tackle

It's not often that we have cause to report on Brazilian lower league matches, but this is a worthy exception.

Ponta Pora were hosting and Coxim on Sunday when the visitors launched an attack down the left flank. After some silky individual skill the Coxim number 4 thought he only had the keeper to beat — but he was wrong. The quick-thinking Ponta Pora physio discretely slid in with a heroic last-gasp clearance, all while keeping hold of his bags. What a hero. If the referee wasn't standing yards away, he probably would've got away with his brilliant plan.
