ABS-CBN: No bad blood with Kris Aquino

The network expressed gratitude for the many years the Queen of All Media has been with them

15 Sep - There is no bad blood between Kris Aquino and her former network, ABS-CBN News, despite her departure, according to Rappler News.

In a statement released by Kane Errol Choa, the head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, the company stated that they are blessed with having Aquino for the last 20 years.

"We thank Kris for the many years that she has been a Kapamilya bringing joy, hope, and inspiration to our viewers worldwide. She will always be a Kapamilya and we wish her well in her new journey," the statement read.

Aquino previously announced that she has decided to leave ABS-CBN to join APT Entertainment, which produces programmes for GMA-7 including the hit show, "Eat Bulaga".

In her statement, Aquino revealed that the Kapamilya network told her that there was no definite show and assured time frame of her return when she arrived home from her long break back in July, while APT's Tony Tuviera offered her a project at the same time.
