NBA betting: Chris Paul's return set to impact Devin Booker
Solid enough finish to the day with a 3-2 result yesterday and now we attack Friday to push us further into the positive.
Phoenix Suns @ Denver Nuggets
It’s a road game for Phoenix, but why are they underdogs when Chris Paul is returning?
Suns +1 is a great option. With Paul back, Devin Booker’s assist numbers should fall, but I think the line is set too low.
Cam Payne had been doing a lot of offensive orchestration, yet Booker still found a way to get assists and I think he can get over 4.5 here.
The odds are great too, paying $2.15 on TAB.
Best bet: Handicap betting - Suns +1
Best bet: Player assists - Booker over 4.5
Indiana Pacers @ Memphis Grizzlies
There are a lot of players out of this game on both sides, so it could get wonky, but the total just feels too high given the options missing.
The total is set at 235 and I think under is the way to go.
Jaren Jackson Jr isn’t a good rebounder. He has gone over six boards twice in March.
So his line of 6.5 rebounds on TAB is intriguing. Brandon Clarke is out, but I’m not sure that propels JJJ to be a good rebounder. So under 6.5 on Sportsbet for $1.98 is what I’m after.
Best bet: Game total - Under 235
Best bet: Player rebounds - Jackson under 6.5
Washington Wizards @ Milwaukee Bucks
Normally we would avoid Bobby Portis given he is on the bench.
But without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, I would have to expect he is back starting next to Brook Lopez and taking a lot of shots.
His points line is set at 16.5 and for $1.81 we can go over on Sportsbet.
Best bet: Player points - Portis over 16.5
