NBA betting: Joel Embiid set to blow away the Pistons

Seen here, Joel Embiid in action for the 76ers in the NBA.

Just 3-2 yesterday, but that’s still a positive result. Let’s dig into a five-game slate of games.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Detroit Pistons

Detroit has been frisky and they may give the Sixers some scares, but in the end, Philadelphia should be able to pull away and win by more than the 9.5 point margin.

It’s going to be tough for Isaiah Stewart to stop Joel Embiid. So, let’s look at Embiid’s points line. It sits at 30.5, which is high, but not high enough. Embiid should go over and on TAB, over 30.5 is $1.90.

Best bet player points - Embiid over 30.5

Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz

With no LeBron James or Anthony Davis, the Lakers have no shot. They are only, and yes, I mean only, 13.5 point underdogs, which seems too low for a team that could lose by 30.

Yes, Russell Westbrook has struggled, but it is jarring to see his assist line down at only 6.5 and to have the over priced at $2.10. I will take that over.

Best bet player assists - Westbrook over 6.5

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Atlanta Hawks

He isn’t a prolific rebounder, but I always like looking at guard rebound lines for players getting a lot of run and Trae Young is no exception.

His line is 3.5 rebounds and it is paying $2.08 for him to go over that. It’s not like the Cavs guards are big bruisers who will always have that advantage over him.

Best bet player rebounds - Young over 3.5
