NBA 2021: Best bets for all the biggest games on Thursday
Yesterday was a disaster with blowouts killing the plays.
With 11 games on today, it’s time to get back on track.
Chicago Bulls @ Portland Trail Blazers
The Bulls are crushing teams. The Blazers are very up and down and they have both Damian Lillard and Norman Powell as questionable.
'NEVER SEEN THAT': NBA fans stunned by 'bizarre' Steph Curry moment
'WOW': Fans lose it over Patty Mills' epic slice of NBA history
So, why are Portland one-point favourites?
I think Chicago wins outright at $2.00 on TAB.
Best bet: Game result - Chicago to win
Boston Celtics @ Atlanta Hawks
Still no Jaylen Brown and now also no Robert Williams for Boston, while Atlanta could be missing Bogdan Bogdanović and Kevin Hueter in addition to De’Andre Hunter.
Josh Richardson’s points over-under is 9.5 and he’s gone under the last two games.
But with no Williams, the Celtics will use more wings, so he could sneak a couple of extra minutes.
Usage has been down, so just a small spike gets him over. It’s at $1.95 on TAB.
Best bet: Player points - Richardson over 9.5 Points
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Brooklyn Nets
No Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Lauri Markkanen, or Collin Sexton for Cleveland, so Ricky Rubio is going to have the ball a lot.
His assists over-under is just 5.5. I think he goes over, easily. It’s over for $1.93 at Sportsbet.
I also think Cedi Osman’s points prop could be gold. It’s 14.5 on Sportsbet for $1.81.
Best bet: Player points - Osman over 14.5 Points
Best bet: Player assists - Rubio over 5.5 Assists
New Orleans Pelicans @ Miami Heat
Nickeil Alexander-Walker is challenging. But, he will take a lot of shots.
His points prop is just 13.5. He’s gone over that four of the last five, comfortably, but it’s brought down by scoring four points last game.
He should be able to bounce back to a degree and go over, and the odds of $1.98 on Sportsbet are good.
Best bet: Player points - Alexander-Walker over 13.5 Points
