Nathan Reardon launches massive six onto WACA roof

Queensland batsman Nathan Reardon has channeled Mark Waugh with a humongous six that landed on the roof at the WACA.

During the second innings of his side's Matador Cup clash against Western Australia on Thursday night, Reardon launched a Jason Behrendorff delivery onto the roof of the Lillee-Marsh stand.

The humongous blow immediately sparked memories of when Waugh achieved the same feat in a Test match against New Zealand in 1997, a six that is widely regarded as the biggest ever:

Chasing 222 to win from 38 overs, Reardon (61) combined with Joe Burns (78no) for 116 for the fourth wicket in what proved to be a match-winning stand.
