Motherwell hammer Aberdeen in SWPL

Motherwell scored six second-half goals to thrash Aberdeen in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

It was goalless at the break at Balmoral Stadium as Aberdeen looked for a first victory under new head coach Scott Booth.

However, Motherwell proved far too strong as a Louisa Boyes hat-trick, plus further strikes from Sienna McGoldrick, Laura Berry, and Sophie Black ensured an emphatic win.

It moves the Lanarkshire side up to sixth place in the table, while Aberdeen remain ninth just one point above the relegation zone.
