Mundine scores stunning one-punch knockout

Anthony Mundine has scored a stunning second-round KO over former featherweight world title contender Tommy Browne.

Mundine kept alive his hopes of a fight against Jeff Horn with a brutal victory in Sydney on Wednesday night.

Mundine, 42, backed Browne up on Wednesday night in the closing seconds of the round, tagging him with several shots, before flooring him with a left hand to the head right on the bell.

He wins the vacant WBO Oriental middleweight title, notching his first win in more than three years and his first stoppage in four years.

There were comical scenes on the undercard of the Mundine fight, with Kye MacKenzie going from from hero to zero after beating Emiliano Martin Garcia.

MacKenzie attempted a backflip to celebrate, but landed on his face.
