How UFC's top ring girl made a million

The UFC's top ring girl has made her first million dollars through the promotion.

Through her ring girl salary and various other associated deals, Arianny Celeste has now reportedly made one million US dollars, according to KGBanswers.

While her salary is undisclosed, the average salary for a UFC ring girl is US$20,000 dollars, with Celeste likely earning far more than that as the company's star attraction.

She began appearing as a UFC Octagon girl in 2006, and has developed many other sources of income.

She's modelled for magazines including Sports Illustrated, Maxim and FHM while also hosting the UFC Ultimate Insider web-series in 2010.

The 31-year-old has won numerous awards including 'Lady of the Day' by Sports Illustrated, Ring Girl of the Year by the MMA Awards and the Hottest UFC Octagon Girl by Maxim.

Ronda Rousey questioned the pay of ring girls in 2015 when she was the biggest star in the UFC.

"I don’t know if the ring girls get paid too much or the fighters don’t get paid enough," she said.

"But, yeah, there’s definitely a lot more in what the fighters do than what they do.'

"So, I think that’s one thing that’s unfair."
