Boxer breaks opponent's jaw with brutal punch

British boxer Jazza Dickens was forced to retire from his bout with Guillermo Rigondeaux after having his face rearranged.

Fighting for the World Boxing Association super bantamweight title in Cardiff on Sunday, Dickens' camp was forced to throw in the towel at the end of the second round after Rigondeaux landed a brutal blow.

Dickens was taken to hospital with scans revealing the jaw broken in two places.

"They said I couldn't get any more handsome," Dickens Tweeted from his hospital bed, along with a picture of his face.

"They was wrong, ha! I'll have the world title soon! Off home to start again x".

Rigondeaux was in fine form after the fight.

"I ripped his jaw out. All those guys that want their jaws ripped out, I'm here," he said.
