Rousey 'really f--king sad' after shock loss

Ronda Rousey has opened up about her shock loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

The former bantamweight champion will be featured on the cover of ESPN The Magazine's latest issue, and some of her comments from a revealing interview have been leaked.

"It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact," said Rousey.

The dethroned star added she felt "really f--king sad" after being knocked out by Holm in November.

Rousey also hinted she is still hopeful for the future.

"Maybe I can't do it all before my prime, before my body is done. But f--k it, maybe I can."

The defeat to Holm leaves a blemish on Rousey's career that can only be redeemed by entering the Octagon again.
