MLB at Bristol Motor Speedway: Braves vs. Reds set for 2025

The Cincinnati Reds will play the Atlanta Braves on Aug. 2, 2025 at Bristol Motor Speedway in MLB's Speedway Classic. The announcement was made Friday morning at the speedway by MLB and NASCAR officials.

The game will count as a Reds home game and will be proceeded by games against the Braves at Great American Ball Park on July 31 and Aug. 1, 2025.

During the presentation, Tennessee governor Bill Lee pointed out that his state has both Reds and Braves fans because it's geographically positioned between the two teams.

The field will be built in the middle of the infield and there was an outline of where the field will be built for Friday's event.

Bristol previously hosted a college football game between the Tennessee Volunteers and Virginia Tech Hokies, which had almost 157,000 fans in attendance.
