Ennis's hilarious dig at Benji's makeup

Michael Ennis has dished the dirt on his fellow NRL 360 contributor Benji Marshall, revealing the Dragons playmaker supplies and applies his own makeup before the show.

Speaking on Friday morning with Fitzy and Wippa, Ennis said Marshall is a favourite among the makeup ladies.

“You know the little room out the back of Fox where they obviously, us rough heads go in there, us blokes go in there and they put the makeup on us," Ennis said.

"Well Benji turns up with his own (makeup) kit.

"The ladies say, ‘oh g’day Benj', they love him because they don’t have to do anything… he absolutely loves it, moisturizer, powder, brushes, the whole lot!”

Ennis' dig at Marshall continues the light-hearted banter between the pair, after Marshall slapped Ennis in the face during a match last year.

Meanwhile, the Cronulla Sharks hooker also took his opportunity on the airwaves to have a go at ANZ Stadium, in particular its atmosphere on Monday.

“Honestly, there’s nothing worse than playing a Monday night game at ANZ stadium. It’s horrible!” he said.

"It’s such a big stadium, that’s one thing I’ve honestly said about working at Cronulla, the difference between having 10,000 at Cronulla in a suburban ground compared to a 10,000 at ANZ stadium on a Monday, it’s just awful.”
