    Heavens above

We almost got through all 10 races at Flemington without the really nasty stuff but it's coming down now.

The heavens have opened up and the afternoon hail that had been predicted for Flemington is lashing the track.

The horses were heading back to the mounting yard but conditions have cleared again and we should be racing soon.

It certainly put a bit of a dampener on the celebrations for racegoers though.
