Man Accused of Filming at Least 91 People in Calif. Starbucks Bathroom: ‘It's Sickening’
Louie Juarez Jr. is charged with possession of child pornography and installment of a hidden surveillance camera with audio, among other charges

On March 15, police arrived on his doorstep.
Inside Louie Juarez Jr.’s home they found “approximately 20 firearms, including an assault rifle, an unregistered firearm, high capacity magazines and other miscellaneous micro cameras,” according to a press release from the San Jose Police Department March 20.
Police have identified more than 91 victims from footage surreptitiously recorded with the hidden camera facing the Starbucks toilet between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 30.

“These videos are extremely graphic,” Officer Tanya Hernandez said in the press release. “And contain multiple juvenile victims, fully exposed.”

Juarez, 35, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, installment of a hidden surveillance camera with audio, possession of high capacity magazines, possession of an assault rifle, and possession of an unregistered firearm.
Among the hidden cameras confiscated by police was one that appeared to be a miniature soccer ball, according to photographs released by the department.
“This is a deeply disturbing incident,” a spokesperson for Starbucks said in a statement, per ABC7, noting that the coffee super chain “will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement on this matter.”
“We cannot overstate the importance of providing a safe environment for our customers and partners," the spokesperson added in the statement.

“It's sickening,” he told ABC7. “It is a feeling of being violated and this is wrong. I'm glad they caught the person, and I hope the hammer comes down hard on him.”
Juarez was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail, per police. It was not immediately clear if Juarez had obtained a lawyer.
