Is this the longest penalty shootout in football history?

Czech football teams SK Bat'ov and FC Frystak have produced what many believe is the world record for longest penalty shootout in the history of the game.

With the match tied at 3-all after 90 minutes, the fifth tier rivals went head-to-head from the spot in a ridiculous 52-shot battle.

After 38 minutes, Bat'ov finally prevailed 25-24 after a Frystak player sent his shot sailing over bar.

The previous record was said to be 48 penalties, although no official records exist.
