Liverpool Legends vs Ajax: Kick-off time, confirmed squads, team news and TV channel today

Liverpool Legends take on Ajax today, with the likes of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres making their latest returns to Anfield.

A big crowd is expected to help raise funds for the LFC Foundation, with millions of pounds raised in these exhibition games over the years.

This afternoon’s event will also see lifelong Reds fan Sven-Goran Eriksson take to the dugout as part of the home side’s management team, after the former England boss revealed it to be one of his wishes after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Last year’s match saw Liverpool get the better of Celtic in a 2-0 win but a look at the squad of icons being taken to Merseyside by Dutch giants Ajax suggests that this will be a highly competitive affair.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The match takes place today on Saturday, March 23, 2024 and kick-off is pencilled in for 3pm GMT.

Anfield will host the match.
