And that's final from Paris, as the United States falls 4-0 to Morocco and fails to advance. The U.S. looked completely out of its depth against Morocco, who took advantage of mistakes and transitions to rack up the score. Even with two somewhat controversial penalties, Morocco dominated the game and left no doubt.
Morocco will now face the winner of Japan-Spain, while the U.S. will head home early.

USMNT still down 1-0 vs. Morocco
There's one man who has been especially busy on the field today: the referee, Yael Falcon, who has handed out a whopping 19 fouls with 30 minutes (plus stoppage time) still remaining. 12 have been called against the United States, with a couple of them being a little soft.
Only two yellow cards though — one in the 15th minute for USA's Jack McGlynn, and one in the 58th for Bilal El Khannouss, who will miss Morocco's next game on accumulation.
One that won't be called a foul is a beautiful goal-saving tackle from Walker Zimmerman in the 62nd minute, who perfectly times it to get the ball out from Rahimi's feet.

Chase Budinger's Olympic dreams in danger of ending early
Chase Budinger, the NBA star-turned-Olympic beach volleyball player, is in danger of heading home early after he and his partner Miles Evans fell to Spain in straight sets on Friday. Budinger and Evans lost to the Netherlands earlier this week; as it stands, they are third in their group, with the Netherlands and France still to play.
The top two teams in the group will automatically advance, while the team in the third spot can advance as a "lucky loser." If the Netherlands defeats France, Evans and Budinger will be able to advance to that extra round. If not, their Olympic campaign will come to an early end.
