Lee Corso almost fell while dancing with the Notre Dame mascot before the Orange Bowl

College football personality Lee Corso is a spry 89 years of age, but he almost took a scary tumble while dancing on the ESPN pregame stage before Thursday night's Orange Bowl in Miami.

While Corso did a playful jig with the Notre Dame Irish mascot, the broadcaster almost slipped and fell to the ground. Thankfully, the mascot caught him before he actually went down.

We all love Corso, but he's no spring chicken. He's got to be careful about dancing on live television, or dancing in general!

This could have been a lot worse, so I guess you could argue that Corso got ... a bit lucky ... during this close call.
