Titans suffer major casualty over Hayne-Henry feud

The Gold Coast Titans have suffered a massive blow due to the ongoing spat between Jarryd Hayne and Neil Henry.

As speculation continues to mount about whether the star fullback or coach will be shown the door, 7News can reveal there has been some major fallout due to the ugly spat.

The Titans are about to lose platinum sponsor Ladbrokes, who will cancel their deal one year early.

The massive loss comes on the back of fellow sponsor Aquis also severing ties with the club at the end of the year.

Aquis and Ladbrokes are both pulling their jersey sponsorship, with Ladbrokes disillusioned with the negative publicity around the Hayne-Henry circus.

Adding to the drama, star halves Ash Taylor and Kane Elgey said in a News Corp Australia report through their management this week that they would walk if Henry was retained at the club.

Elgey and teammate Nathan Peats have since dismissed the report as "bulls***".

Titans boss Graham Annesley has told members of the embattled club that the fate of Henry and Hayne has yet to be decided.

There was speculation Henry would be sacked while Hayne may have played his last game after being ruled out of Thursday's clash with former club Parramatta with an ankle injury.

Annesley said the Titans board were yet to make a decision on the pair in the video link sent to all Gold Coast members on Wednesday night.

"At this stage I don't know what the outcome of that decision will be," Annesley said.

"The board will reconvene within the next week to make a decision they believe will be in the best interests of the club which always has to be more important than the individuals concerned."
