7th Tackle: Jason is Taylor-made for the media

Sacked Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor will begin his new career this weekend, appearing as an analyst on Fox Sports.

He made his first media appearance since being axed on the same network last night, joining the all-female panel show League Life.

The return to work with pay TV brings Taylor full circle.

While playing for the North Sydney Bears two decades ago he commentated junior footy games on Optus Vision alongside our good mate Terry Kennedy.

Friends of Taylor say he’s been in good spirits over the past fortnight.

His sacking has coincided with Taylor and wife Lana moving back into their newly renovated home on Sydney’s lower North Shore.

He was spotted at a local Woolworths on Sunday afternoon – no doubt stocking the new pantry – as the Tigers lurched to their fourth straight loss.
