Dugan and Douglas KO'd in ugly head clash

Josh Dugan and Luke Douglas have both been forced from the field after colliding heads in the Four Nations opener between the Kangaroos and Bravehearts.

The Dragons fullback was supporting a Michael Morgan break up the middle of the field when he went to ground to collect the ball.

As he got up to run again, Douglas misjudged the target of his hit and ended up colliding heads with Dugan.

Both players were lying motionless on the ground for a short time before they were assisted from the field by medical staff.

The Kangaroos ran in 10 tries against the Bravehearts with Cooper Cronk and Josh Mansour grabbing two apiece to set up an easy 54-12 win.

Australia produced an almost flawless first 40 minutes to roar into a 30-6 lead over a shell-shocked Scotland but their plucky opponents battled back well in the second half to restore some pride.
