NRL star shows skateboard skills on eve of season

New Zealand star Shaun Johnson has left fans on the edge of their seats again, but not for his rugby league skill.

With the NRL season one week away and Johnson coming back from a broken ankle the youngster has been filmed showing another skill of his - skateboarding.

The video, posted on Johnson's Facebook page, shows him emerge from a skate bowl and then balance on his back wheels across the concrete before dropping back into the bowl.

With high expectations for the New Zealand Warriors this season after the key recruitment of Isaac Luke and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Johnson holds the key for his side to claim their first premiership.
