Bulldogs fans clash with police after Roosters game

Bulldogs fans have clashed with police at Allianz Stadium after their team were beaten by the Roosters.

Video emerged of police and ground security trying to control a group of supporters, before things turned ugly.

It is unclear what triggered the melee, but several punches were thrown in the direction of the police.

The match was full of tension, following the controversial referee decision to award a try to the Roosters, which swung the game heavily in their favour.

The Roosters went on to win the game 38-12 and will now face the Broncos for a spot in the grand final.



It is not the first time this season Bulldogs fans have been at the centre of crowd trouble, with fans hurling bottles at referees during their Good Friday clash with South Sydney.
